CONCLUDING PARAGRAPH
Till now we have
covered all the 108 Vaishnava Divya desams. However out of these 108 two
divyadesams namely parkadal (107th divyadesam) and Paramapadam (108th
divyadesam ) are not accessible to humans. So we can only visit 106
divyadesams. Still two more places can be added to this list of divyadesams and
the total can be made as 108 that are accessible to humans.
They are
Melkote near Mysore
, also called as Tirunarayanapuram wherein swamy ramanuja stayed for 12 long
years and consecrated the idol of tirunarayanaswamy with his own hands and
also( being the foster mother of tiruvaimozhi ) had dedicated 1st tiruvaimozhi
of 4th dasakam of tiruvaimozhi of swamy Nammazhwar to this place
And
Kattumannar Kovil
alias Veera narayanapuram which happens to be the birth place of swamy
Nathamuni who had rediscovered the entire nalayira Divya pranamdham of azhwars
by the grace of swamy Nammazhwar and was instructed by swamy Nammazhwar as well
as veeranarayana Perumal of veeranarayana puram to start adhyanotsavam at veeranarayana
puram. This was the reason the place got kattum Mannar Kovil the place shown by
Perumal to start adhyayanotsavam for the first time in the history.
These two
divyadesams though not in the list of 108 divyadesams are no less than any
other divyadesam as far as Vaishnava sampradayam is concerned. We shall cover
these two divyadesams in two consecutive episodes
